It’s been 2 years. It’s been 2 years since I posted on Mama Spaghetti. It’s been 2 years since I posted on Mama Spaghetti because…I forgot my password.
I mean let’s face it…everyone, including the ice cream man, tells you that passwords need to be different for each account. They also must contain an uppercase letter, special character, Morse code, and your 1st born child. I am just incapable of remembering such things.
Why not reset it you ask? Because apparently I also couldn’t remember which email address I used. Because we’re supposed to have 71 different email addresses too, right?!
Have no fear! I have figured it all out! (Obviously since I am ACTUALLY POSTING SOMETHING!) And…guess what??! I downloaded the glorious app! Which means that I can just spout off about whatever I want whenever I want.
This could be dangerous.
A picture of Little Miss Gigli’s spaghetti plate because…why not?!
Tell us a joke!
I stole the following joke from Stelline. When she told it to me and Ziti a few years ago we thought it was the cutest thing ever. I don’t know if she made it up or if she heard it from someone else.
Stelline: Can you up with a sentence that only uses the words green and yellow?
Us: Hmmm… no.
Stelline: Green Green Green Green … Yellow?
Green is supposed to be the sound of a phone ringing … as in, Ring Ring Ring Ring. Yellow is supposed be someone saying “Hello” when they pick up the phone.
Ha!!! It seriously was so funny when that child told us this joke. I thought it was so clever!
Long fusilli is perhaps one of the silliest pastas in existence. I’ve always felt that fusilli couldn’t make up it its mind about which type of pasta it wanted to be. It’s long like spaghetti, has a hole through it like ziti, but yet is spiraled like rotini. It’s almost as if fusilli couldn’t decide which of those three pastas were its favorite, so it decided to become all three.
So since fusilli is so silly, I am dedicating a day to silliness on my blog. Every Friday I will post a picture, quote, or anything that I think may be slightly funny. Think of it as a way to put a smile on your face as you are launched off into the weekend.
For Fusilli Friday #1 I bring you an elephant on the highway!
Picture taken by me!
This picture was taken a few years back while driving home from vacation. Ziti and I think it may have been some sort of children’s ride. You know, those machines where you insert a quarter and all kinds of madness ensues. I like how the elephant appears to be running on the highway. You know what would have made this picture funnier? If the elephant was facing backwards! That way he could stare down the car that is driving behind him.
